Refund Policy

At Heyshrruti.com, every artwork is handmade and customized specifically for each customer. Since portrait commissions and paintings are personalized, our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent.
1. Custom Artwork Nature
All portraits, sketches, and paintings are made-to-order based on customer reference photos and requirements. Because of this, refunds are limited once the artwork creation process has started.
2. Cancellation Policy
Customers may request cancellation only before the artist has started working on the artwork.
- If cancellation is requested before work begins, a full refund may be provided.
- If work has already started, cancellation will not be possible.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered only under the following cases:
- Payment made but order was not confirmed by the artist
- Artwork was not delivered due to a confirmed issue from our side
- Physical artwork arrives damaged (must be reported within 24 hours)
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be provided in these situations:
- Customer changes their mind after the artwork process has started
- Minor artistic differences (as handmade work may vary slightly)
- Incorrect address or details provided by the customer
- Delays caused by courier/shipping partners
5. Damaged Delivery Claims
If a physical artwork is delivered in damaged condition, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of the package and artwork. We will review the case and provide an appropriate resolution.
6. Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 5–7 business days and credited back to the original payment method.
